Flee or Flight Clause

A special provision inserted in many trusts to safeguard their assets in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as insurrections, invasions by foreign powers, imposition of local taxes or exchange restrictions, etc. Should any of these circumstances occur, the site and control of a trust is automatically transferred to another jurisdiction with similar benefits.
